“I’m looking to create a lifestyle video of my family’s thanksgiving, the family that rents a hall because we’re that big.” Erin I learned that Erin had a particular style of movie in mind, one of constant camera movement, capturing the feeling of being there. I really enjoyed shooting this entire event with a stabilizer and editing it to her choice of music. I hope you enjoy.
For as long as I can remember, my family has always done Thanksgiving. This might not seem surprising to most, as many family’s get together for the holiday.
The difference in my family, is that Thanksgiving is not just my siblings and parents. It’s my grandparents, my aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins and basically anyone who wants to stop by for dinner. The head count ranges from 40-50 in any given year.
This year, we decided to document it, capturing it on video. It starts as any other family’s might – with a Turkey Bowl in the yard. Over the years, we’ve added new players, but the goal is always the same. Football, festivities and food together as a family.
We’re a large, fun, crazy group – all thankful for each other, every single day!
